UI/UX Designer

Job Summary

The UI Designer will need to be an effective communicator. He/she will work closely with the Clients, Project Manager, Creative Director, Senior/Lead UI/UX Designer, UX Writer, and Website/Application Developer to ensure our projects meet specified requirements, timelines, and budgets.

Our ideal candidate is an individual with a positive attitude, possesses good attention to details and timelines, and has a strong work ethic. Ultimately, the UI Designer will create both user-centered and appealing features that address our clients’ needs through a digital application.

Critical Thinking

1. Communicate with clients to understand their business goals and objectives
2. Able to recognize customer pain points and implement solutions through effective design
3. Deliver intuitive and user-centered design solutions
4. Communicate with the end-user for any research required to create good digital products/applications with immersive experiences

Planning Skill Sets

1. Able to conduct research for data gathering and designing process
2. Able to plan and oversee the whole design process
3. Ability to develop and reiterate new solutions before scaling up
4. Organized yet flexible in adjusting to shifting work methodology

Designing UI

1. Recognizes good Interface Design and aesthetic elements; combine creativity with an awareness of good Experience Design and design elements
2. Assist team to develop User Story, Personas, Sitemap, Wireframes, UI mockups, and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites look and function
3. Assist team to conduct Usability Testing to measure the effectiveness of the user experience
4. Ability to apply Design Systems throughout the design process

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Art/ Design/ Creative Multimedia, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Human-Computer Interaction/Interaction Design or equivalent.

Required skill(s)

• Key required skills! Strong understanding in Design Principles
• Ability to work and collaborate remotely due to Covid-19 restriction
• Knowledgeable in UI/UX Design – it is an added advantage if the candidate has some knowledge of Usability Factors in Human-Computer Interaction
• Implement the rapid prototyping after customer iteration
• Capable of presenting and explaining own artworks and ideas to the team and Clients
• Adhere to Design Systems when developing web designs
• Problem-solving through data-driven design and user-oriented insights
• Proficient in using Adobe products including XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator
• Exposure to HTML and CSS is an added advantage
• We highly appreciate knowledge and experience in software design and charting libraries (Highchart, Kendo, chart.js)
• We highly appreciate any communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills you may possess
• Able to collaborate with teams to plan, analyze, organise and execute assigned projects
• Work closely with developer/coder to execute the wireframe/prototype
• Cross collaborate with developer/coder to implement the wireframe/prototype
• Analytical and willing to take on new challenges
• Flexible to ad-hoc tasks
• Willing to travel
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
• Preferably Junior Executives with at least 1 Year of working experience specializing in UI/UX Design or equivalent
• Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply
